Run, don’t walk coffee lovers. The summer’s biggest shopping event is here and the Amazon Prime Day coffee machine deals are coming in hotter than your morning brew.

No matter what it is, you’re sure to find something that tickles your fancy.
We’ve done the hunting for you so you’re fully primed (*eye roll*) and ready to shop the Prime Day sales. Don’t worry, we will be keeping this post updated as new deals come in too.

DeLonghi Magnifica Start with Auto Milk Frother
The Magnifica Start is a serious face-lift on the already well established and excellent Magnifica series.
Anyone looking for a great value espresso machine to make their morning latte or black coffee will love the Magnifica Start. It’s incredibly easy to use, relatively low maintenance and being offered at a great price.
The Prime Day deal is actually $100 cheaper than what DeLonghi are selling it for direct!
If you need more convincing, see our full review.
Breville Barista Touch
The Barista Touch is aimed at budding home baristas. It’s a great machine if you want the heavy lifting of espresso pulling done for you, but still want to make adjustments to personalize your shots.
You can save 8 customized drinks which can be accessed via the full-color touchscreen later. So the whole family can have their favorite drink at the touch of a button.
Not only does it look great, but it also packs in a lot of features for the price. And tastes even better in the sales! Though Amazon only has “Black Truffle” and “Brushed Stainless Steel” color options
The discounted price mirrors what you can get directly from Breville (here).
If you need more convincing, see our full review.
Gaggia Magenta Plus
The Magenta Plus is a slightly stripped back version of the (excellent) Magenta Prestige. So in normal circumstances, we’d recommend splurging for the Prestige.
But only one of them is the Prime Day Sales, and it’s a whopper of a discount which makes the Magenta Plus very very tempting.
It has a more limited drinks selection (espresso, coffee, lungo and americano) plus manual milk frothing only. (Our image is of the Prestige with automatic milk frothing).
So if you’re mostly a black coffee drinker, this discount is too big to miss.
Philips 3200 LatteGo
One espresso machine we can always count on finding in Amazon’s sales is the Philips 3200 LatteGo.
Unfortunately, it’s been discontinued and replaced with the 3300 but that doesn’t stop it from being a great machine (this is our full review). Though this might be one of the last times we see it on sale, so don’t miss out.
It’s a mid-range super-automatic espresso machine designed with simplicity in mind. Sure, there are more sleek options out there but I like having all the buttons visible.
The built-in grinder has ceramic flat burrs which are usually only found on premium machines.
It only has 5 pre-programmed drinks and the milk foam is a little dense for my taste.
But being so simple to use and clean makes it a very attractive option.
DeLonghi Magnifica Evo
The Magnifica Evo is a great little super-automatic espresso machine that makes getting tasty coffee incredibly easy.
The soft-touch buttons with pictures along the top are clear and easy to use.
At a touch, you can make espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, long coffee, and iced coffee. Then there’s the ‘My Latte’ button if you want to make and save something unique to you.
Don’t get me wrong, the coffee isn’t likely to blow you away. But it’s a massive step up from a pod/capsule machine.
You can save a little extra by going for the manual milk wand version. But the LatteCrema automatic milk frothing is one of our favourite features of this machine so it’s well worth the spend.

Breville Barista Express
The Barista Express may be over 10 years old, but there’s still life in the old dog.
Are there more up-to-date Breville machines out there? Absolutely. But does that mean you should turn your back on the Barista Express? Absolutely not.
Whilst we’d no longer pay full price for this espresso maker, anytime you can snap it in the sales, it’s an absolute win. At a fraction of the price, it’s phenomenal value for money.
Prime Day offers this classic espresso maker for less than Breville do in their own sale.
KitchenAid KF6
For the price of the machine, the quality of espresso from the KitchenAid KF6 is great. Like really great.
You get 4 user profiles, and the flexibility to adjust the flow rate, temperature, and dose (up to max 15g). So you get a lot of bang for your buck with this machine.
That said, the milk foam leaves a lot to be desired for both cappuccino and macchiato, but it’s decent for lattes.
Personally, I find the looks a little dated but maybe I’m just fussy.
DeLonghi Eletta Explore
You want near unlimited choice of coffee recipes? The DeLonghi Eletta Explore has hot, cold, and XXL versions of all your cafe favorites.
Designed for those who like variety in their coffee consumption, having hot or cold milk foam makes incredible iced coffee at home as simple as touching a button. You still have cozy lattes for the colder months.
The Prime Day deal is $50 cheaper than DeLonghi’s own sale. A fantastic choice for anyone who loves to keep their coffee options open.

Breville Oracle Touch
One of our all time favorite espresso machines. The Breville Oracle Touch is for the tinkerer. The person who needs endless minutiae to work through for espresso perfection.
It also works perfectly well for those who want to choose a coffee and let the machine do the work. Though you’ll have to move the portafilter and put the milk jug under the wand.
But it really excels with an insane range of customization options for coffee perfection, no matter what your favorite drink is.
A staggering $800 cheaper than buying direct from Breville. An amazing deal.

DeLonghi Dedica Maestro
Something of a hybrid option. You control the espresso and the Dedica Maestro can take care of the milk frothing.
It’s also incredibly narrow, 8.2 inches, making it ideal for anyone who is short on counter space
You do need a grinder to get the best from this machine, but as a starting point for your espresso journey, its ideal.
WACACO Nanopresso
One for the traveling espresso lover. The WACACO Nanopresso may not live up to the immense quality of it’s brother, the Picopresso (also discounted for Prime Day). But its much easier to use and you can buy the NS add on to use Nespresso capsules.
If you travel for work and hate the lottery of hotel coffee then this is the ideal companion for you. Quick and simple to use, just add coffee and hot water.
It’ll cost extra if you want to get the NS adapter, but its still a fantastic deal.
OutIn Nano
If heating the water yourself is a portable espresso deal breaker, then this is the machine for you. Capable of pulling 4-5 shots on a single charge. Its a hiker’s dream.
It comes with a Nespresso adapter so you only need your Nano, pods, and water for espresso anywhere. Plus its charged by USB-C.
The espresso isn’t going to blow you away, but being able to have hot espresso in the middle of a hike might.
An excellent addition to your summer exploring kit.
Nespresso VertuoPlus
The Nespresso Vertuo line of coffee makers are some of the best Nespresso machines out there.
The VertuoPlus is a brilliant espresso machine for anyone who wants fuss and mess free coffee.
Nothing complex, insert capsule, push button, enjoy. With Nespresso focusing more on milk based drinks, these coffee only machines can be absolute bargains.
Just remember that the Vertuo pods are more expensive than the regular ones.
Nespresso Vertuo Lattissima
If you’re a cappuccino or latte lover, the Vertuo Lattissima deserves a look in. Though black coffee lovers will also be happy with the choice of espresso, ristretto, or lungo.
So all your coffee bases are covered for a fraction of the price of a super-automatic machine.
All you have to do is press a button to get your favorite coffee without making a mess. (The milk container is dishwasher safe too!)
The model we tested (pictured) is the slightly older one and it’s had some nice upgrades since then like the dial on top of the milk container to help with cleaning.
Nespresso Creatista Pro
The Creatista Pro is Nespresso’s answer to the Breville Bambino Plus. So you can expect all the slick details and great coffee, but with the ease of a Nespresso pod machine.
It’s a significant upgrade to the Plus (which is also discounted, here). Sure, there’s been some aesthetic changes but the biggest improvement is having dual boilers and a hot water spout.
You can choose between the 7 pre-programmed drinks plus hot water and milk foam using the bright screen. The only downside is that the screen is on top of the machine which means my short wife, Katie, struggles to use it.
Screen placement aside, with a huge discount for Prime Day, how can you resist?
Nespresso Pixie
The Nespresso Pixie is a classic of the Nespresso range.
It’s the super compact baby and is crazy easy to use, making it ideal for small spaces.
Espresso lovers will enjoy the Pixie most as it can only do a single or double shot. All the coffees are made using the Original line of capsules which open up more options (and lower costs!).

Breville Precision Brewer Thermal Carafe
One of the absolute best drip coffee brewers you can buy is currently at an amazing price.
Coffee legend James Hoffman used one for 2 years and spent 12 minutes saying how amazing it is on his YouTube channel. That’s about as good an endorsement as a coffee product can get.
You get incredible control over the brewing, a huge 60oz max brewing capacity, easy to use controls, timed-brewing, and cold brew functionality.
It’s more expensive than most drip coffee makers but it’s also better than most drip coffee makers. We’d absolutely be getting one.
Oxo Brew 8-cup Coffee Maker
Oxo Brew take a “no fuss” attitude to coffee and their coffee makers are excellent value for it. Perfect brewing temperature, insulated carafe, programmable start time, and single cup capable. Everything you need.
We reviewed the 12 cup version (pictured), and the 8 cup ticks all the same boxes you want.
The special basket for single serve is a great feature as it means your coffee will always be perfectly brewed, even in small doses. We also always prefer stainless steel insulated carafes glass.
25% off makes this an even better caffeine investment than it already was.
AeroPress
The AeroPress is a fan favorite amongst coffee lovers (including us) thanks to the simple design yet great-tasting coffee.
For something so simple, the amount of flexibility and options you get is seemingly endless. So you’ll never be bored with this at home.
Being so tiny, you can easily pop the AeroPress away in a cupboard – there’s no giving up half your kitchen counter like with an espresso machine. Or you can throw it in your bag if you’re going traveling.
Outside of Prime Day, this is a bargain piece of coffee brewing equipment. So, in the sales, it’s an absolute winner!
Worried that it won’t make enough coffee? The AeroPress XL is in the Prime Day Sale too – click here.

Bialetti Moka Express
For true coffee icons, the only thing that can rival the Bodum French press is the Bialetti Moka pot.
First designed in 1933, this classic coffee maker has remained unchanged. After all, why fix something that isn’t broken?
The coffee produced is bold and syrupy.
You need to pay attention when brewing to avoid burnt (or exploding) coffee. But it’s otherwise a super easy way to make coffee.
Not just at home – the Moka pot is also a great option for camping or in an RV.

Ninja DualBrew Pro (CFP307)
Variety is the spice of life. And with the Ninja DualBrew you can add that spice to your coffee.
You can use either pre-ground coffee or K-cup pods. Choose between 9 different drink sizes from small cups all the way up to travel mugs. Switch between 4 different brewing styles – Classic, Rich, Over Ice, or Specialty. Use the foldaway milk frother.
In short, you get your coffee exactly how you like it. And how the whole family likes it.
If you’re looking for a simple, effective way to caffeinate the whole family, this is it. We always find this machine in the sales so we’d only recommend buying it at a discount.
Keurig K-Express
The K-Express offers a simple, no-frills coffee-making experience.
The only decisions you have to make are the size (8, 10, or 12oz) and whether you want regular strength or Strong.
Keurig recently re-released this model in a slimmer body which we’re a big fan of. We like how easy it is to fit into even the smallest of apartment kitchens.
To get the most out of this machine, we recommend getting the My K-Cup which you can refill with any ground coffee of your choice meaning you can use a much bigger range of great-tasting coffee.
1Zpresso K-Ultra
The grinder we take with us when we travel, along with our AeroPress. The K Ultra is ideal for AeroPress, pour over, French press, or anything else non-espresso brewing.
An incredible range of grind sizes, easy to adjust, and easy to use. Just be aware if you have small hands it can be tough to grip.
It can also be used for espresso but isn’t as precise as a grinder designed to do that task.
A fantastic all rounder and one we recommend highly at full price, and even more so discounted.

Follow Ode Grinder (Gen 2)
If pour over, AeroPress, or French press is your drink of choice, the Fellow Ode burr grinder is one of the best you can get for the price.
Give it a miss if you want to brew espresso though. Instead, look at the Fellow Opus. (Not discounted unfortunately.)
In terms of grind quality and how simple the Ode grinder is to use, it more than justifies the hefty price tag.
Currently, the discount is only available on the white version which is a shame as we think the black is more sleek and suits more kitchens. But we’re willing to overlook it for such a big saving on a great coffee grinder.
JavaPresse
The quickest way to upgrade your coffee is to freshly grind your coffee beans. And the most cost-effective way to do that is with a JavaPresse.
This little grinder is always available at a bargain price. But at the discounted Amazon Prime Day price, it’s an incredible price!
For espresso lovers, the quality will fall a little short. But, for coarser brewing methods like French press or pour over, you won’t find anything as good as this for the price.
Being small and lightweight, you can easily throw it in your bag to take your coffee game up a notch on the road too.

Normcore V4 Coffee Tamper
When you first get into espresso pulling, you quickly realize just how many variables there are to perfect your shot. And how many gadgets this includes!
One non-negotiable in your espresso setup should be a *good quality* tamper.
That’s exactly what Normcore delivers – and for an affordable price. (Especially when it’s in the sale!)
We’re always really impressed by how even our extractions are when using it. Bring spring loaded means you get some feedback too which is really nice.
Jura Milk Container
Currently, there aren’t any Jura coffee machine deals to be had this Amazon Prime Day (not unusual, it’s pretty rare to see them discounted.)
But you can get the next best thing (kind of) – some accessories to complete your setup!
All Jura’s come with a basic milk hose that you can put into any vessel. It gives you the flexibility to use whatever you like, but it’s also pretty frustrating given how expensive their machines are.
So we’re always happy when we see their sleek, branded milk container in the sales! It eases the frustration just a little bit.
You can take it in and out of the fridge when you’re not using it. And the glass helps to maintain the temperature.
Bodum Melior Electric Gooseneck Kettle
A gooseneck kettle is essential for making great pour over coffee at home. This offering from Bodum gives a stylish and great value way to complete your setup.
We’re big fans of the comfortable cork handle. Not only does it feel nice in your hand but it also helps you control the flow of water.
The spout allows you to pour with ease and to get the best possible extraction.
It also looks great with a matte black finish that will suit any kitchen.
Simple Modern 40oz Trek Tumbler
Controversial opinion: we think the Simple Modern Trek Tumbler is way better than the Stanley Quencher. Don’t come at us!
Whether or not you agree, it’s much cheaper, especially with a cheeky discount in Amazon’s Prime Day Sale.
Do we think 40oz is way too big for coffee? Absolutely! But we don’t judge other people’s caffeine consumption.
It comes with 2 straws which can sit in a range of positions to suit what’s most comfortable for you. It’s also impressively leak-proof and keeps drinks cold for well over the advertised 24 hours.
When is Prime Day?
Amazon Prime ‘Day’ is a loose term as it actually covers two days – I guess Prime Days is a little less catchy. Plus, the discounts usually start rolling in from late June (and this year is no exception!)
This year, the event will run from Tuesday 8th July at 0.01 PT until 23.59 PT on Thursday 11th July. This 72-hour discount bonanza is similar to Black Friday and Cyber Monday and offers great discounts on a wide range of products.
If you haven’t signed up, many of the deals won’t even be visible to you. So if you click one of our links and think ‘uh, this isn’t a great coffee machine deal’ then chances are you aren’t a Prime member or you’re logged out of your account.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day is a victory for Jeff Bezos’ marketing team. It is a special sale exclusively for Amazon Prime members. The online shopping giant has been running the event since 2015 alongside other sales events like Amazon’s Big Deal Days in October and the Big Spring Sale in March. The discounts can easily be worth the cost of Prime membership for a year, even ignoring all the other benefits like Video and faster delivery.
If you’re not sure about committing, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial just for Prime Day if you like. That way you don’t have to worry about costs, only savings.
Throughout the event, you’ll find a dedicated section on Amazon.com with all the Prime Day deals which you can then search by category or for a specific item. There are deals in all departments from books to toys to garden furniture and, most importantly, coffee makers.
How to get a “Lightning Deal”?
In addition to the general discounts and great deals offered on Amazon Prime Day, you’ll find some products with “lightning deals”. These are usually massive discounts but only on a very limited amount of stock.
This is where you find the best Amazon Prime Day coffee maker deals but you need to be quick off the mark. If you wait too long or plan on coming back later, you’ll probably miss out. That said, the deals change throughout the day so you might find one that suits you even better at a later time.
You can find them on the main Prime Day page or by visiting the ‘Today’s Deals’ section.
Are Prime Day Coffee Deals Worth It?
Big sales events usually all suffer the same issue: not everything is actually a great deal.
Annoyingly, it’s fairly common for some products to be sold at an artificially high price beforehand. This means sellers can advertise huge discounts for the event without actually giving you a good deal.
The psychology behind Prime Day is to prey on our FOMO. So, some products might have been on sale for a while but then placed under the “prime day” banner to encourage impulse buying. When we think something is a limited-time deal, we’re more likely to buy things we don’t really need or even want.
It can be really difficult to work out what are good deals and what is just good marketing.
To protect yourself, we recommend doing your research. Look around and see what price other retailers are selling your coveted purchase for. That way you know that the deal on offer is actually a good one.
If in doubt, remember the words of my wise Mom: “It’s only a bargain if you needed it anyway.”
