Breville Barista Touch Impress
Breville makes some of our favorite espresso machines. The Barista Touch Impress makes incredible quality coffee with minimal effort from you.
While it isn’t a “one-touch” machine, you only have to move the portafilter to make coffee, the Barista Touch Impress does the rest.
(If you want the machine to take care of the heavy lifting for you, the Barista Touch is a better fit. And it’s also discounted just now too.)
You get 5 coffee options, endless customization, and special settings for steaming almond, oat, or soy milk. This machine has everything a coffee lover could want.
Currently, you can snap it up at a great price. There are very few machines that can produce the same coffee quality as this for under $2000, let alone getting it for well under $1500.

Wacaco Picopresso
This one’s for our fellow travel lovers who aren’t willing to compromise on espresso quality when on the road.
For such a small device, the espresso shots it pulls are nothing short of amazing.
It takes a little trial and error to dial in your shots. Plus you’ll need a grinder, scale, and access to hot water. But it’s worth the effort. (Read our full review for tips.)
It has a professional-sized filter basket, excellent tamper, and consistent pressure. In a portable espresso maker that takes up almost no room in your bag.
If you want something that’s a little easier to use (but also a step down in espresso quality), the Wacaco Nanopresso is also on sale.
Philips 3300 with LatteGo
One espresso machine we can always count on being discounted for sales events is the Philips 3300 LatteGo.
It’s a mid-range super-automatic espresso machine designed with simplicity in mind. Sure, there are more sleek machines out there but I like having all the buttons visible.
The 3300 replaced the already popular 3200 with a new feature: iced coffee. It’s a welcome addition in the summer months.
It only has 5 pre-programmed drinks (advertised as 6 but one is hot water) and the milk foam is a little dense for my taste.
But being so simple to use and clean makes it a very attractive option. That said, when it first arrives, you need to run a few coffees through it that are destined for the sink before you’ll get anything good.
If you don’t want iced coffee or latte macchiato, save yourself more money by looking at the Philips 2300 instead (also in the sale).
DeLonghi Magnifica Evo
The Magnifica Evo is a great little super-automatic espresso machine that makes getting tasty coffee incredibly easy.
The soft-touch buttons with pictures along the top are clear and easy to use.
At a touch, you can make espresso, cappuccino, latte macchiato, long coffee, and iced coffee. Then there’s the ‘My Latte’ button if you want to make and save something unique to you.
Don’t get me wrong, the coffee isn’t likely to blow you away. But it’s a massive step up from a pod/capsule machine.
The version with LatteCrema automatic milk frothing is definitely the better one. But it’s so popular that it keeps coming in and out of stock as the Black Friday sale progresses.

Jura S8
Jura is Top Dog for exceptional quality coffee at the touch of a button. But we rarely see them in the sales so you’ll be kicking yourself if you sleep on this deal!
We’ve found not one but TWO excellent discounts on the Jura S8:
Get it brand new with $400 off
OR
Get it refurbed for a whopping 50% off
It’s easy to operate, easy to clean, and easy to drink the incredible coffee quality. In love? Us too (you can read our full review, here.)
As a bean-to-cup machine, the only decision you have to make is which beans to use and which style of coffee you want to drink.
DeLonghi Magnifica Start
This is one of the newest budget espresso machines from DeLonghi. And it delivers every bit of excellence that we’ve come to expect from them.
It’s an overall upgrade over the Magnifica Evo as long as you get the LatteCrema model.
Everything is easily customizable using the on-screen options. And many parts are dishwasher safe which we’re big fans of.
Our only gripe is that the Latte Macchiato and Cappuccino buttons are programmed the same. So you can make your own adjustments to get 2 different drinks but straight out the box, they’re making the same drink.
DeLonghi Dedica Arte
If you want great quality espresso, without all of the fuss (and space) of an automatic machine, the Dedica Arte is a great option.
It has a very small footprint for the impressive quality it produces.
Don’t get me wrong, it won’t blow you away if you’re a proper espresso nerd. But it will produce a pretty solid shot and the Latte Art milk system is great if you want to flex your artistic muscles.

Breville Barista Express
An icon of the espresso world. The Breville Barista Express remains a great value machine for those wanting to start pulling espresso at home.
It’s best for budding enthusiasts as there’s only a grinder and a pressure gauge to assist you. But coffee lovers (including us) have been enjoying great espresso from the Barista Express for over a decade.
With an 18-22g dose, precise temperature, and superb steam, you can make barista-level coffee at home… with a little practice.
Maybe the best thing about this is that many people have been using theirs for close to 10 years. A solid coffee companion for the next decade.

DeLonghi La Specialista Arte Evo
We were already big fans of the La Specialista Arte automatic espresso maker as an easy way to feel like a barista at home.
Then they released the upgraded La Specialista Arte Evo with cold brew functionality which, for the price, is impressive.
The built-in grinder has 8 grind settings so it’s good for getting started at making espresso but is pretty limited once you’re skills evolve.
We love cold brew and are excited to see it appearing on more and more machines. But we’re not completely blown away by the La Specialista Arte Evo’s capabilities. It’s nice every so often but not as your everyday drink.
The milk wand is superb for producing silky microfoam. Plus it stays cool to the touch so there are no accidental burns.
Currently, it’s sold out on Amazon so only available discounted direct with DeLonghi. But we’re keeping our eyes peeled in case it comes back.
DeLonghi All-in-One Espresso & Coffee Maker
Espresso or Coffee?… Or both?
DeLonghi has the answer to all my fellow indecisive friends in need of caffeine. The carafe will make 10 cups of coffee, or you can switch it up with an espresso or milky drink thanks to the manual milk wand.
Making the coffee couldn’t be simpler. It’s a little more involved than just pressing a button for the espresso drinks but a little effort goes a long way.
This machine is best suited to those who prefer to drink from a coffee pot throughout the day but would like the option of the occasional latte or cappuccino.

Black & Decker
This is a fan-favorite budget coffee maker that consistently brews a solid cup of joe.
Will it make the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had in your life? No.
But it’s also less than $30 in the Black Friday sale. So it’s a good option for caffeine on a budget.
It’s also easy to clean and easy to program.
If you’re on a tight budget and looking to maximize every single one of those dollars spent, this is the one for you. You can expect “no frills” yet still enjoyable coffee for minimal fuss.
Zojirushi Dome
Zojirushi are renowned for making great quality products. And the Dome programmable coffee maker is no exception.
The coffee quality is consistently good thanks to its unique shower dome design. Plus you can customize the brew strength from ‘Classic’ to ‘Bold’. Though be warned, bold is seriously bold!
Being a Japanese company, everything is thoughtfully designed. Incluidng the fact that no drops fall when the carafe is removed.
AeroPress
The AeroPress has something of a cult following. And we are fully fledged members too.
The fanfare isn’t unwarranted though: the AeroPress brews incredible quality coffee.
Once you get the hang of it.
Be patient with yourself as you take time to nail your technique. There are thousands of ways you can use the AeroPress (we favor the inverted method) which you’ll either love or hate about it.
Once you know what you like, it’s amazing! Plus it’s so small and lightweight you can throw it back in your cupboard when you’re done.
Or in your suitcase – we’ve recently started traveling with ours anytime we’re out of town and it’s an absolute game-changer.
Keurig K-Elite
Getting coffee into your hands as simply as possible is where Keurig excels. The K-Elite is super simple to use at the touch of a button.
You can always expect consistent quality too. And with so many K-cup varieties to choose from, you’ll be spoiled for choice.
To give you even more coffee choices, you can opt for a reusable K-cup (this one is also reduced for Black Friday) which you can re-fill with any ground coffee.
I love that this machine gives you the option to brew 5 different cup sizes (from 4 to 12oz), increase the strength, or have an iced coffee. As an added bonus, you can dispense hot water on its own too.
It’s also available in a choice of colors so you can choose the best match for your kitchen aesthetic.
Barista Warrior French Press
It takes a lot to make a French press really stand out from the pack. After all, they’re pretty simple with just a carafe and a plunger.
So I’m really impressed with how Barista Warrior makes theirs so sleek and modern.
The double-walled stainless steel is great for insulation. But it also means you need to pre-heat the carafe before you start brewing your coffee.
There’s also a double filter to stop any pesky coffee grounds from making their way into your cup.
Every cup of coffee we’ve had from this French press has been delicious, complex, and sediment-free. So we’re impressed and are sure you will be too – especially when you can pick it up with such a good discount.
Nespresso VertuoPlus + Aeroccino3
As the smallest (and newest) machine in the Vertuo line, the VertuoPlus should fit into even the smallest of spaces in your kitchen. It’s just 5.5 inches wide.
Being easy to use is the number one priority for Nespresso. And they nail it every time.
The Vertuo line of coffee makers will only take the Nespresso Vertuo capsules which is a little annoying as you’re tied in. However, the capsule design is pretty cool:
Each capsule has a barcode which the machine will read and adapt the brewing parameters to fit. This means minimal effort from you for maximum coffee quality.
This combo deal with the Aeroccino offers incredible value – it’s cheaper than the machine usually is on its own.
Nespresso Vertuo Next
Black Friday is a great time to get yourself a single-serve machine, saving you money over daily trips to your local coffee shop.
Nespresso has nailed the easy-to-use coffee model. It doesn’t matter how sleep-deprived, hungover, or unfocused you are, the Vertuo Next will deliver great-tasting coffee at just the press of a button.
It’s a compact machine that’s simple to use and clean.
The lack of milk frothing may be an issue for some people. But as a coffee machine for the home or office, it doesn’t get much better or easier than this. Plus their range of coffee pods and capsules keeps getting bigger and bigger, including some superb single-origin options.
Nespresso Vertuo Pop+ (Limited Edition)
This is another compact Nespresso machine built by DeLonghi. The Pop+ is newer and even smaller than the Vertuo Next.
The only difference between the Limited Edition model in the Black Friday sale, and their normal model is the color. It’s a sleek matte black with gold accents. (Our one pictured is the regular Pop+).
Being a smaller machine means less space for used pods, a smaller carafe, and less space under the nozzle. It also has one fewer coffee size compared to the Vertuo Next.
But it functions essentially the same and is a little bit cheaper.
Nespresso Creatista Plus
The Creatista line contains ‘do-it-all’ machines capable of making your favorite milky coffee drinks at the push of a button.
With the Creatista Plus you get 8 pre-programmed coffee options and a 3-second heat-up time.
To make your selections, it has a bright screen and a little knob to scroll through the options. However, we find it a little awkward to use as it’s on the top of the machine.
My wife, Katie, is pretty short so she struggles to see the screen when it’s on the countertop.
(For a slicker interface, the Creatista Pro is also discounted but is a much more expensive machine.)
But we’re willing to overlook this for the auto-milk frother, quick espresso brewing, and dedicated hot water spout. And with a huge discount for Black Friday, how can you resist?

Nguyen: Up to 25% Off Sitewide + a Free Bag of Coffee
Vietnam might not be the first place that springs to mind when you think about top-quality coffee. But Nguyen Coffee Supply is working hard to change that.
Vietnam is the 2nd largest coffee producer in the world, after all.
As America’s first specialty Vietnamese coffee brand, Nguyen does things right:
The beans are bought directly from farmers in Da Lat in central Vietnam before being roasted in Brooklyn. They only source the very best quality beans that offer something unique and special.
Expect full-bodied, rich, and almost chocolatey coffees. It will be a little different from what you’re probably used to and well worth giving them a try – especially with such a great discount.
Trade Coffee: Up to $50 Off Coffee Gifts
With the holiday season just around the corner, Black Friday is the perfect opportunity to get Christmas gifts for your loved ones without breaking the bank.
And what could be a better gift for the coffee lover in your life than coffee delivered right to their door?
With Trade, you can choose from one of their curated one-off gift boxes or a longer-term subscription.
We’re big fans of their subscription service: they personalize the picks to your (or your loved ones) preferences. So you don’t have to stress that you’ll choose the wrong thing.
The bags of coffee beans are hand-picked from their vault of over 450 coffees from more than 55 roasters.
Volcanica Coffee: 20% off sitewide
Volcanica Coffee has an incredible range from basically every coffee-producing country in the world.
Whether you want espresso blends or single origins, they have amazing options of freshly roasted, high-quality coffee beans.
This family-owned coffee company was inspired by the amazing flavor of Costa Rican coffee and is dedicated to finding the best coffee from the world’s volcanic regions and beyond.
To snag 20% off all products (or 28% off your first subscription), use the code TG2024.
1Zpresso K Ultra
It’s no secret that, as pour over lovers, the 1Zpresso K Ultra is one of our favorite manual grinders.
We don’t often find 1Zpresso grinders in the sales so when one of their top models is discounted, we run. Fast.
This is a good all-round grinder for everything from pour over to coarse French press. Though it won’t grind fine enough for espresso.
The consistency is superb, it’s easy to switch between grind settings, and the slim body makes it easy to hold even if you have little hands.
Seriously, the only drawback we’ve ever had is the price. So in the Black Friday sales, it’s a no-brainer.
Fellow Opus
Fellow always knock it out of the park with their coffee equipment and the Opus conical burr grinder is no different.
It’s an electric multi-brew grinder meaning it can handle everything from fine espresso grinds to coarse French press style. All with minimal effort from you.
Other than being mildly awkward to make precise adjustments, we don’t have much criticism for this grinder.
Especially considering the (now heavily discounted) price. You’ll be hard-pressed to find another grinder that performs this well for this price.
If you only drink French press, pour over, or AeroPress, the Fellow Ode (Gen 2) is a phenomenal grinder and also discounted.
Timemore Chestnut C2
The Chestnut C2 was the budget-friendly manual grinder that put Timemore on the map.
There are newer, shinier, upgraded models now on the market but it’s still hard to argue with the quality of the C2. Especially in the Black Friday sales.
It’s a great option if you brew with an AeroPress, V60, or French press. Anything that needs a finer grind will suffer though.
We’d also recommend sticking to one brewing method. It involved some guesswork to change grind settings so it’s not ideal if you like to mix things up.
Weighing around 1lb, it’s fairly light. And, whilst it’s not the smallest hand grinder, it’s certainly portable.
Javapresse
The JavaPresse manual coffee grinder is a good place to start on your coffee grinding journey. And, for the discounted Black Friday price, it’s an incredible place to start!
For espresso lovers, the quality will fall a little short. But, for coarser brewing methods like French press or pour over, you won’t find anything as good as this for the price.
Being small and lightweight, you can easily throw it in your bag to take your coffee game up a notch on the road too.
Normcore V4 Tamper
When you first get into espresso pulling, you quickly realize just how many variables there are to perfect your shot. And how many gadgets this includes!
One non-negotiable in your espresso setup should be a *good quality* tamper.
(Seriously, don’t bother wasting your time on a flimsy plastic one.)
Quality is exactly what Normcore delivers – and for an affordable price. (Especially when discounted for Black Friday!)
We’re always really impressed by how even our extractions are when using it. Being spring-loaded means you get some feedback too which is nice.
Jura Glass Milk Container
One of the great things about Jura espresso machines is the flexibility over how to store your milk. You can opt for a super-expensive milk system or simply use a spare mug that’s lying at the back of your cupboard.
For us, the best middle-ground is the branded Jura glass milk container.
It can be detached and simply returned to the fridge when you’re not using it. But it still looks sleek sitting alongside your machine.
The best of both worlds. And even better in the Black Friday sales.
Wacaco Exagram
A coffee scale is an essential piece of kit if you want to seriously up your home coffee game.
If you don’t have room for yet another piece of equipment (or if you want to pack up your full espresso setup when you travel), then the Exagram is a great solution.
This scale is tiny – it’s less than 80mm wide. So you could throw it in your pocket if you really needed to.
Our version (with the photo) is the old model. The most recent updates promise more sturdy construction and updated software. Since we were already blown away by the original, we know these updates are going to be GOOD.
Even better with such a generous Black Friday discount.
Bodum Melior Gooseneck Kettle
If you’re looking to start making pour over coffee at home, you’ll need a gooseneck kettle in your arsenal. The long, thin spout gives you maximum control over your pouring speed.
And the Bodum Melior is a great budget-friendly electric option.
It doesn’t give you the same control as some of the more expensive options. For starters, there’s no temperature control options.
What we do like, however, is how comfortable it is to hold the cork handle. Though I’m not 100% sold on how it looks.
Barista Warrior Gooseneck Kettle
Simple yet effective is the calling card of Barista Warrior’s gooseneck kettle.
The handle is comfortable to hold and the spout is a good shape to give you the much-needed control regardless of how much experience you have.
Our favorite feature of this kettle is the thermometer embedded into the top of the lid. It makes it super easy to precisely control your temperature without having to spring for an electric kettle.
When is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a loose term these days. Originally, it was a single-day event the day after Thanksgiving – so November 29th this year. Scenes of long early morning queues and flying elbows were not uncommon outside the doors of big retailers.
Then it became the Black Friday to Cyber Monday event – basically the whole weekend after Thanksgiving. And the sales took to the online world too so you can shop at home (or the office, we won’t tell the boss!) in a much less intense environment.
Now, for many retailers, it is a month-long event with offers kicking off at the start of November and then bleeding into pre-Christmas sales.
So, you can bag yourself a bargain several weeks in advance, before the delivery services get overrun.

Is Black Friday Only in the US?
Black Friday may have started in the US in response to the shopping rush after Thanksgiving, but global companies, capitalism, and the power of marketing have taken this event worldwide.
Now, you will see Black Friday deals in many countries around the world across almost every product you can imagine. With the cost of living crisis hitting globally, retailers will be keen to try and entice customers into spending with some great deals.
Are Black Friday Coffee Deals Worth It?
Retailers know a thing or two about psychology. Specifically the psychology behind making you part with your hard-earned cash.
Frustratingly, this means it’s fairly common practice for the price of some products to creep up a couple of months before Black Friday. Doing so means retailers can advertise an artificially large discount and hopefully drive sales.
It’s an age-old trick that works on our FOMO and we’re all guilty of falling into it. When a deal is for a “limited time only”, it drives the urge to impulse buy.
This means it can be really hard to separate the truly good deals from the truly good marketing.
The best thing we can advise is to do your research before the big sales hit. So have in your mind what your favorite coffee maker (or grinder, beans, kettle) is and what it would usually cost. That way you won’t be swayed by the shiny thing you don’t need or a ‘saving’ of only $2.
As my mom likes to say “It’s only a bargain if you needed it anyway.” Words to live by when shopping for the best coffee maker deals this Black Friday (or any other sales event, for that matter!)
What About Cyber Monday?
Where Black Friday started in brick-and-mortar stores, Cyber Monday was the invention of online retailers. They wanted to cut through the noise of Black Friday deals and have their own day the following Monday.
Nowadays, they all run into each other and it’s more of a “Most-of-November-and-even-December Sale”. Deals start online and in-store well before Black Friday and last until well after Cyber Monday.
Looking to buy the perfect gift for the coffee lovers in your life? Check out our list of the best gifts, no matter the time of year, by clicking below:
But they are a moving target so we’ll be keeping an eye on all the best deals as the event progresses. This page will be updated daily throughout the full Black Friday/Cyber Monday period to help you find the perfect coffee deal.
Will the coffee maker you’ve had your eye on hit the sales?
