I’m calling it – spring cleaning is out. Grabbing some incredible deals on coffee gear in the Amazon Big Spring Sale is IN.
This March sale is a relatively new Amazon sales event that’s available to everyone – you don’t need to be a Prime member to benefit (though there are even more discounts if you are). This year, to be confusing, it’s running on different dates in the UK/ Europe and North America. Across all locations, we’re already seeing incredible deals with up to 40% discounts that you won’t want to miss.
- On Amazon US and Canada, the Big Spring Sale is from March 25th to 31st
- Across Europe and the UK, the Spring Deal Days sale has passed – from 10th to 16th March
As absolute suckers for a good deal, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the best savings on everything you need for your home coffee setup: coffee makers, espresso machines, grinders, kettles, you name it. So keep this page open (what’s one more tab?) to get the best offers in the Big Spring Sale.

Breville Bambino Plus
There are few espresso machines that are as universally loved as the small but mighty Breville Bambino Plus.
We’d pick this machine if:
- You’re short on space: It’s a very compact espresso machine (7.7 x 12.6 x 12.2 inches)
- You have a separate grinder: There’s no built-in grinder, so you’ll need to invest in one to get the most out of this machine (jump to grinder savings, here)
- Espresso making is something you want to learn: You’re in control of how your espresso shots will taste, so you need to be willing to learn to make the most of this machine
- You drink milky espresso drinks: The steam wand can be used manually or on auto giving you flexibility over how you like your drinks. If you won’t use it very often, the Bambino has a more stripped back milk wand, is cheaper, and is also discounted just now

DeLonghi Rivelia
The DeLonghi Rivelia ticks all the boxes that most people are looking for in an espresso machine:
It makes excellent coffee with ease, has helpful features that work, and looks nice on your countertop.
The LatteCrema system on DeLonghi machines is great for one-touch drinks. For us, the milk temperature is perfect, but many people might find it on the cool side.
Our biggest gripe with this machine is that it’s capable of making iced coffees BUT only if you pay for the LatteCrema Cool add-on. In the Big Spring Sale, it’s still cheaper to get them both together than the machine usually costs on its own.

Philips 5500 with LatteGo
The Philips 5500 LatteGo is ludicrously easy to use and our favorite of the Philips automatic espresso machine line-up.
This is a great machine if:
- You love your iced coffees (so everyone, obviously). It can make 19 different coffee drinks, including 7 iced coffee options (black or milk-based)
- You want choice and simplicity – the interface makes it very easy to use
- You like a stronger coffee. The “extra shot” feature makes it easy to add some depth (and caffeine) to any drink. We use this on all our drinks
- You hate the idea of cleaning a coffee machine. All espresso machines require cleaning. But the 5500 makes it easier than most.
Usually, our biggest complaint about the 5500 is the price – it’s not worth the full price tag, in our opinion. But with such a hefty Spring Sale saving, the price is definitely right.

Philips 3300 with LatteGo
If you’re after a cheaper mid-range automatic espresso machine, the Philips 3300 is also a great shout. It’s more stripped back in terms of features but is still built for convenience and ease of use.
This is a great machine if:
- You’re upgrading from a pod machine (like Nespresso or Keurig) as it offers a significant step-up in quality without being any more complicated to use
- You won’t be sharing the machine, or everyone in your household drinks coffee the same way, as there aren’t any user profiles.
- You don’t need lots of options. If all you drink is black coffee and cappuccino, then there’s no need to pay for a machine that has more built-in drink options. The 3300 has 5 in-built coffees – black drinks and more “foam-heavy” milk-based ones (cappuccino and latte macchiato)
We wouldn’t pay full price for it, but we almost always find it in the sales events throughout the year. Any time it’s discounted is a great time to pick up this machine.

Breville Barista Express Impress
Breville espresso machines never let us down, and we love the Barista Express Impress as it allows you to make genuinely professional-level drinks at home, whilst still holding your hand. And it’s relatively affordable (by espresso machine standards), especially when it’s discounted so nicely.
We’d pick this machine if:
- You want to learn how to make espresso shots at home: The Barista Express Impress holds your hand by dosing and tamping the ground coffee, allowing you to take control over everything else. So if you’re willing to do a little work and skill up, this is a great place to start
- You don’t like plastic near your coffee: The great thing about Breville machines is their stainless steel designs – a rarity these days
- Coffee quality is very important to you: Although you have to do the work, the potential espresso and milk quality from a portafilter and steam wand machine is much higher than using a super-automatic machine that does it all for you

Breville Barista Touch Impress
If you want an even more hands-off espresso-making experience, the Barista Touch Impress is an incredible option.
You have to move the portafilter into position, but that’s it. The machine will take care of everything else for you. And the espresso quality it’s capable of making is next level – I’ve never had a bad drink.
This might be the machine for you if:
- You want simplicity: This machine is as close to a “one-touch” machine you can get so it’s insanely easy to use
- You love playing with the settings: If you just want to plug a machine in and let it take control, this is probably a bit much for you. It has 5 coffee recipes built in, but then you can endlessly customize them
- Dairy milk is out: As milk alternatives behave very different to dairy milk, steam wands often can’t handle them. But the Barista Touch Impress has special settings for steaming almond, oat, or soy milk
DeLonghi La Specialista Touch
If the Barista Touch Impress is still a little out of your price range, the La Specialista Touch is a good alternative.
The internal parts aren’t quite as good, meaning your espresso quality will never reach the same potential. But it’s still a huge step up in taste over any super-automatic machine at the same price.
With this machine, you need to tamp your coffee grounds and move the portafilter. Then the machine will take care of the rest, to suit all your customized settings.
DeLonghi Magnifica Evo
If you’re currently tied into a specific capsule/pod brand for a single-serve machine, the Magnifica Evo will set you free.
It’s a great alternative that gives you total flexibility to use any beans that you want.
There are 7 drinks available at the push of a button, including iced coffees. It even gives an on-screen recommendation for how many ice cubes to use, which is a really nice feature to avoid watering down your coffee as the ice melts.
The modern display is incredibly easy to use. And the LatteCrema milk system is one of our favorites on the market.
In the sales, it’s hard to say no to such a great mid-range espresso machine.
KitchenAid KF6
Of all the KitchenAid espresso machines, the KF6 is our favorite. Mostly because the value for money is very impressive.
For its (now discounted) price, you get really really great espresso quality. The milk foam is also decent for lattes, though it falls a little flat for cappuccino or macchiato.
If you drink flat white or cortado, you’ll need to spend more for the KF7 or KF8 (which are also a little easier to use and on sale). But for simple espresso, the KF6 is a great pick.

Miele CM 6360
Okay, the percentage discount isn’t as big as some of the other machines in the Big Spring Sale. But for a luxury espresso machine with a luxury price tag, we’ll take any savings we can.
I’m convinced this machine will look great in any kitchen – just look at it!
Gushing aside, it also makes great coffee and milk-based drinks. I honestly think the flavor is good enough to justify the price tag – the looks are just the cherry on top.
Unfortunately, it’s not the easiest machine to use and doesn’t have iced coffee options, which we’ve come to expect at this price point.
However, this is an incredible premium machine that we don’t often see discounted. So if you’re tempted by it, get it while you can.

DeLonghi Stilosa
One of the best budget espresso machines you can buy is currently under $100.
The DeLonghi Stilosa isn’t going to blow anyone away with its coffee quality. But for anyone looking for a great value way to make espresso drinks at home, its fantastic.
Pressurized portafilters make it easy to get a decent shot, and the panarello milk wand will help you get lovely, foamy milk.
If you’re on a tight budget but still want to make cafe-style drinks at home, this is our favorite machine.
OutIn Nano Portable Espresso Maker
Battery-powered espresso in under 5 minutes is a pretty good sales pitch. OutIn Nano allows you to make 3 espressos on one charge and use ground coffee or Original Nespresso Pods.
This makes it a solid option for anyone who goes camping, hiking, or even just travels for work a lot.
It is a little fiddly to use and takes 45 minutes to recharge, which is a little frustrating. Especially when you only get 3 espressos from it.
But very few portable espresso makers heat the water for you, so it’s an impressive “all-in-one” solution.
Nespresso Vertuo Next + Aeroccino3
If you’re short on space, the Vertuo Next is a great option.
It uses the Vertuo line of Nespresso capsules. They’re a little more expensive than the regular ones, but we’re big fans as they (generally) taste better. They use a barcode on the capsule itself to adapt the extraction process to suit the drink you’re trying to make.
This bundle includes the machine and the Aeroccino3 milk frother for less than the Vertuo Next usually sells on its own.
I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve updated this link, as the machine is listed so many times on Amazon and the sale price isn’t applied to them all. So if it’s full price when you check, just hit search and you’ll almost certainly find a heavily discounted listing.
If you don’t drink milk-based drinks, you obviously don’t need the Aeroccino. In that case, you can also get the Vertuo Next on its own with an equally great discount.
Nespresso Vertuo Lattissima
If you’re a cappuccino or latte lover, the Vertuo Lattissima deserves a look in. Though black coffee lovers can also enjoy a choice of espresso, ristretto, or lungo.
So all your coffee bases are covered for a fraction of the price of a super-automatic machine. As long as you’re happy buying into the Vertuo line of coffee capsules.
All you have to do is press a button to get your favorite coffee without making a mess. (The milk container is dishwasher safe too!)
The model we tested (pictured) is the slightly older one and it’s had some nice upgrades since then like the dial on top of the milk container to help with cleaning.
Nespresso Pixie
The Pixie is one of the babies of the Nespresso range and an absolute classic. It’s compact and crazy easy to use, making it ideal for small spaces.
Unlike the other Nespresso machines in the sale, the Pixie uses the Original line of pods. This opens up an insane number of coffee options.
Just be careful when refilling the water tank as we’ve broken more than we care to admit to.
Nespresso Pop+
This is another compact Nespresso machine built by DeLonghi. The Pop+ is newer and even smaller than the Pixie.
Smaller means less space for used pods, a smaller carafe, and less space under the nozzle. It also does one fewer coffee size compared to the Vertuo Next.
But it functions essentially the same and is a little bit cheaper.
It’ll only make black coffee drinks, though – if you want milk coffees, you’ll need to get a separate milk frother in this combo deal.
Braun Multiserve Plus Coffee Maker
There aren’t many drip coffee brewers that the Specialty Coffee Association gives its nod of approval to, but this is one of them.
Being SCA certified basically means that it has been rigirously tested to ensure coffee is consistently brewed within the SCA Golden Cup recommendations. This assesses water temperature, brewing time, and dose.
In other words, it brews a dang good cup of coffee.
In terms of customization, you can choose between 4 coffee strengths and over ice brewing, plus the amount of coffee you need between single cup and a full carafe.
If you’re looking to get a drip coffee maker in the Big Spring Sale, this one gets our top vote.
Technivorm Moccamaster KBGV Select
Another Specialty Coffee Association-approved coffee brewer, maybe even better than the Braun Multiserve Plus, but also a lot more expensive.
The Technivorm Moccamaster series are almost all approved by the SCA, a serious endorsement on their design and brewing capabilities.
The KBGV model allows you to select brewing 6 or 10 cups, which is very handy. The hot plate also adjusts to the volume you’ve brewed so it won’t burn your coffee.
It is expensive for a drip coffee maker, but it looks great and brews fantastic coffee. So we think it’s well worth it.
xBloom Studio
The xBloom Studio is an automatic pour over coffee maker that looks so slick, it makes me a little giddy. It’s available in a range of colors, including a sage green with gold accents that my wife has been eying up for a while.
At a touch, it will take over making cafe-level pour over coffee. Or you can dive into the endless settings to craft your own recipe.
They offer a range of coffee pods if you want the simplicity of a Nespresso machine but 100x the flavor. Or there’s a built-in grinder, giving you total flexibility to use your own beans.
This coffee maker isn’t for everyone, but if you love pour over (or know someone who does), it’s an awesome machine to get *really* into pour over.
Braun BrewSense
The BrewSense is one of our favorite 4-cup drip coffee makers – and it’s on sale!
You can brew 1-4 cups individually or a full 12-cup carafe. We’re big fans of the gold-tone reusable filter and the charcoal water filters for better taste.
The only downside we had with the Braun was the price. So with it discounted for the Big Spring Sale, the price is officially right.
It has all the features you expect and want in a drip machine, can make good-tasting coffee, and is now available at a great price. We love it.
Cuisinart 14-Cup Coffee Maker
For families, the Cuisinart 14-cup coffee maker is a great option. Even at full price, we think it offers really good value for money, so in the Big Spring Sale, it’s a steal.
You can programme it to be ready and waiting for you when you roll out of bed in the morning.
The carafe holds an impressive 14 cups, but you can also brew as little as 1 cup if you just need a quick hit.
AeroPress
We would be lost without our trusty AeroPress. It’s the small but mighty powerhouse of our home coffee station – and we take it traveling with us too.
It takes a little time to get the hang of using it. (Always triple check that you’ve tightened the cap on – I’ve made that mistake too many times!)
There are literally hundreds of recipes, so you’ll need to experiment to find the style that suits you best. But, once you do, you’ll wonder why you ever gave up so much counterspace to a big coffee machine.
The coffee itself sits somewhere between drip and French press.
Bialetti Venus
Bialetti is an absolute icon in the coffee brewing world with its traditional Moka pot. It’s had an update (in style and capabilities) for the Venus model.
With the Venus, you can make the same rich coffee that moka lovers are obsessed with on ALL gas, electric, and induction hobs. So there’s no kitchen this won’t work well in!
Bayka French Press
Even at full price, the Bayka French press is a bargain coffee maker. But getting it discounted makes it an absolute steal.
It’s made from borosilicate glass, so it can withstand high temperatures (though it won’t withstand being dropped). And the 4-level filtration system is good at preventing grounds from making their way into your cup of coffee.
You can choose between 21oz or 34 oz (0.6L or 1L) and either the Copper color (my favorite) or Dark Pewter gray.
Keurig K-Compact
They don’t call it the K-Compact for no reason. At just over 8 inches wide, it’s a great option for those who’re short on space.
It has a 36oz reservoir and can brew coffee in your choice of 6, 8, or 10oz. So you can get a fair few cups out of it before you need to refill.
We like to pair Keurig machines with the My K-Cup. This way, we can use any of our favorite coffees (preferably freshly ground) rather than being limited by the (admittedly large) K-Cup range.
1Zpresso K Ultra
This is, hands down, our favorite manual coffee grinder for anyone other than espresso lovers.
The K Ultra is incredibly consistent for AeroPress, pour over, French press, or drip brewing. Basically, anything that’s not espresso.
You need a strong grip (my wife has small hands and sometimes struggles), but other than that, it’s super easy to use and adjust.
This is a fantastic all-rounder that we don’t hesitate to recommend at full price… and even more so when it’s discounted.
Timemore C3 ESP
The Timemore C3 offers one of the best value manual grinders currently on the market. Especially when it’s discounted.
Despite its low price, it still feels premium, and the textured body makes it easy to grip. My wife struggles with gripping manual grinders, and this is one of the few she can use. The handle is also comfortable to hold and smooth to turn.
The ESP model is designed for espresso drinkers and is seriously impressive for a grinder around $100.
My main issue with Timemore grinders is that you have to guess your settings – there are no numbers on the adjustment dial. I find this really awkward if you change beans or brewing method frequently. But if you’re a creature of habit, this won’t bother you.
Cuisinart GK-1 Digital Gooseneck Kettle
If you want to make pour over at home, then a gooseneck kettle is absolutely essential.
Cuisinart’s GK-1 heats up quickly, has a great temperature range, and is very accurate. The stainless steel body and 3-year warranty are welcome features too.
The large temperature range, 140 F – 212 F, is also amazing if you’re a fan of various types of tea.
It does beep very loudly for some reason when it reaches the desired temperature, but it’s a great gooseneck kettle and is currently at a really amazing price.
Normcore V4 Tamper
When you first get into espresso pulling, you quickly realize just how many variables there are to perfect your shot. And how many gadgets this includes!
One non-negotiable in your espresso setup should be a *good quality* tamper.
(Seriously, don’t bother wasting your time on a flimsy plastic one.)
Quality is exactly what Normcore delivers – and for an affordable price. (Especially when discounted for the Big Spring Sale!)
We’re always really impressed by how even our extractions are when using this tamper. Being spring-loaded means you get some feedback too, which is nice. Just make sure to get the right size for your portafilter.
Coffee Mug Warmer
How many times have you *finally* got to sit down only to discover that your coffee (or tea) is ice cold?
Parents, busy office workers, and those who’re just a little forgetful, this one’s for you.
There are 6 different temperature settings (130-180°F) that you can easily control using the soft-touch buttons. It won’t recreate the magic of your coffee when it was freshly brewed, but it’s about as close as you will get.
Simple Modern 40oz Trek Tumbler
Controversial opinion: I think the Simple Modern Trek Tumbler is way better than the Stanley Quencher. Don’t come for me!
Whether you agree or not, it’s definitely a lot cheaper. Especially with a discount in Amazon’s Big Spring Sale.
Do I think 40oz is way too big for coffee? Absolutely! But I’m not here to judge your caffeine consumption.
It comes with 2 straws that can sit in a range of positions to suit what’s most comfortable for you. It’s also impressively leak-proof and keeps drinks cold for well over the advertised 24 hours.
When is the Amazon Big Spring Sale?
This year, the Big Spring Sale will run from 0.01 PT on Wednesday 25th to Tuesday 31st of March 2025.
Throughout the year, there are plenty of other discount frenzies over at Amazon. There’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday in November, Amazon Prime Day in July(ish), and Prime Big Deal Days in October. But now we’re being spoiled with more savings earlier in the year.
Whenever you choose to shop, there are big discounts to be found across the whole Amazon store. So there’s plenty of bargains to be found, not just on coffee gear.
Unlike some of the other events, the Big Spring Sale isn’t exclusive to Amazon Prime members. Though there are some member-only discounts hiding in there too.

What is the Amazon Big Spring Sale?
Amazon Big Spring Sale is a week-long sales shopping event offering big discounts throughout all their departments. It’s their first sales event of the year, so we have big hopes and long shopping lists!
Throughout the event, you’ll find a special section on Amazon.com with the Big Spring Sale offers. From there, you can search by category. Most departments will feature some discounts so you can stock up on everything from coffee makers to Easter decorations. If you’re feeling organized, it’s also a great opportunity to snag some gifts ahead of Mother’s Day or Father’s Day.
Will there be “Lightning Deals”?
Amid all the regular savings, Amazon will also run Lightning Feals during the Big Spring Sale. These are even more time-limited and will run for just 12 hours or until they sell out – whichever happens first.
They’re usually very big discounts and are designed to encourage shoppers to keep checking back in case there’s an even more incredible saving to be had. Luckily, we’ll be keeping our eyes on all the Lightning Deals that will keep our fellow coffee obsessives happy so you don’t have to.
With these deals, you need to be ready to pull the trigger as soon as you see them. If you hesitate, it’ll be gone.
Are the Discounts Worth It for Coffee Makers?
Each deal is different and many are there to suck you in without actually being that good. This is why we dig through them all to find out which ones are actually great and which are fairly common sales prices dressed up as a big deal.
The idea is they want to draw us in with large discount percentages and prey on our FOMO. Having such a time-limited event pushes people to impulse buy rather than digging around to find out how great the price actually is.
It can be really difficult to work out which are great marketing and which are great deals. That’s why we sniff them out and feature them here.
If in doubt, remember the words of my wise Mom: “It’s only a bargain if you needed it anyway.”
Shopping the sales to get the perfect gift for the coffee lover in your life? Check out our top coffee gift ideas here:
There are some highly caffeinated deals to be had for my fellow bargain-hunting coffee lovers. Despite being a new sales event, Amazon has knocked it out of the park with some superb Big Spring Sale coffee maker deals.
As the discounts roll in, we’ll be keeping our beady eyes open and will keep this page updated.
So grab yourself a coffee and let the bargain-hunting commence!
